STIP Rijeka offers training to those who want to become
court interpreters. The training sessions are also available to the already appointed court interpreters who want to refresh their knowledge.

Court interpreter training

STIP Rijeka offers court interpreter training sessions approved by the Ministry of Justice. The president of the County Court or of the Commercial Court appoints the court interpreter
after he or she has met a series of requirements. The already appointed court interpreters who want to refresh their knowledge can also join the sessions and they can contact the Association directly.

The training program delivered by STIP Rijeka consists of the following:
– duties of court interpreters
– how to manage the register of certified translations
– how to manage your own business records
– instructions on how a certified translation should look like
– rewards and fees of court interpreters
practice: translations from Croatian into foreign language and vice versa; consecutive interpreting.

The training is held in two 7-hour sessions, Saturdays only, in Rijeka. If the need arises, the training will be held in other towns and cities as well. Location: Rijeka The cour interpreter training can be held in other locations.
