Bio
Beth Haley is an ESL teacher, editor and proofreader from Leeds, England. After obtaining a teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) certificate, she taught English for two and a half years—in Brazil, Spain and Italy—before then obtaining a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and continuing her career as an ESL teacher in Treviso, Italy.
Wanting to expand her skills and dive deeper into the world of English, she went on to train with the Proofreading Academy (now known as Knowadays) and obtained a certification in editing and proofreading, and alongside teaching, she has been working professionally as a freelance editor and proofreader since 2022.
Beth has a great interest in the English language and all of its intricacies and quirks, and she is passionate about helping others not only access it because they may need it but also to help them enjoy it and uncover the many glorious elements of the language, hopefully resulting in people falling in love with it.
